My name is Soumyabrata Roy (30). I am born and brought up in a middle-class family in a village called Tehatta, a little village beside India-Bangladesh international border in West Bengal, India. I have studied Diploma in Photography (2019) from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math (University of Calcutta). I am working as a Freelance Documentary photographer and videographer but I enjoy many genres and try to not limit myself in this regard. My works mainly deal with the journey of life of various individuals through which some moments and some steps have been presented that are helping us to lead our lives. I do not view myself as an artist, but rather I try to faithfully and aesthetically record the artistry, beauty, and tragedy found in the world. Most people in my state do not know the name of my region Tehatta. My goal is always to make my region known to the world.
